How does this laser hair removal work?
The laser hair removal technology makes uses of an invisible light beam and the constant heat generated to penetrate the skin and removes the hair follicle from its root without harming the skin surface. The laser beam first sources for the hair follicle by detecting its melanin. Melanin is the dark pigmentation in the hair. Then it directs the laser beam at its root to destroy it.
How many treatments do I need?
Typically 6 to 8 treatments, spaced 30 to 45 days apart are needed to maximize your results. In the past, people with darker or tanned skins may have seen less favorable results - not with today's newer technology used at BARELaser - the Quanta Light A Star.
ND YAG vs IPL?
Clients need to ask the clinic - ND Yag or IPL? The newer technologies such as the BARELaser Quanta Light A Star is the most advanced ND Yag laser.
